Joe Meiser - Student Work
teaching > 3D projects > Narrative Bust
So far this Service-Learning project has been explored with five classes: one class worked with students at Wood Lane School—which helps people with developmental disabilities, two classes worked with the LEO Day Habilitation Program, and the other two classes worked with the residents of Alterra Sterling—an assisted living facility. Each 3D student is paired with a resident and instructed to create a lifelike bust of their partner. Their partners can choose to also sculpt a bust, or whatever else they wish. Students’ final works are required to contain a visual narrative. See the Project Outline for details.
